Walkin' in Memphis

Sunglasses: Firmoo // Earrings: Francesca's // Shirt: Express (thrifted) // Vest: Old Navy // Jeans: LOFT // Wedges: DSW

My head has been spinning from visitors and travel for the last three weeks! My MIL came out to visit at the end of April to deliver some antiques and a few hundred (really) vinyl records that she kindly divested to us. One week later, my parents arrived to town so we could begin our ten-day road trip through Tennessee: Knoxville, Nashville, and Memphis. We had a packed itinerary, thanks to my mom, an experienced traveler and tour guide (and officially a travel agent now too). Each stop was so much more than I expected, and we realized how fascinating this state really is. And if that wasn't enough, I'm flying home today after an extended weekend in San Diego for a dear friend's wedding and my nephew's first birthday party.

One question remains: How am I going to make it to work tomorrow morning?!

I love wearing glasses, but I also use them to shield the under-eye bags that come with long work days and long school nights. Almost everyone at work knows me only with glasses. The only downside of glasses is that driving at sunrise or sunset is so harsh on my weary eyes. Firmoo swooped in to save the day with these snazzy prescription sunglasses. They're the perfect, fun summer pair, and I have been spared premature eye wrinkles caused by squinting into the sun. (My 40-year-old self is grateful.)

Travel day, here I come -- prescription sunnies and all!

I love the sunglasses, colorful, retro-inspired, perfect. The khaki vest really makes the outfit. Who says petite clothes aren't fashionable? I love your style!
