Thank God for Instagram

Otherwise, I would never have photos to post!  I'm lazy when it comes to uploading photos to my laptop now.

1.) We bought a new lamp, moved some furniture, and got my office space set up for grad school!  My educational nesting is complete.

2.) This was my "I wish groceries would buy and deliver themselves, because I don't want to get up" face, but really, I've just been secretly perfecting my "McKayla is not impressed" face.  Oh, and I love my new glasses.  (Another new pair of glasses will be arriving in the mail soon!  Hooray!)

3.) Amelie was cheering on the Wisconsin Badgers.  You tell 'em, Amelie!

4.) I went down to Houston on Labor Day for Free Day of Yoga.  Last year's FDOY was my first yoga experience, so the event holds a special place in my heart.  Yoga outside in the sun in Houston in 97 degrees (+ humidity) gives "heated yoga" new meaning.  I've never done Bikram yoga, but this has to count for something.  It felt amazing to see how far I've come in one year of on-and-off practice!

5.) ... drum roll, please... I have a new yoga home!  I use the term loosely considering it's 25 minutes from home, but I'm happy to have a good studio to go to again!  It may be a small studio, but I love the teachers... a lot.  It also happens to be far cheaper than the average yoga studio.  North Houston girls, come hit the mat with me!  *ahem... Meg, Whit, Cait...*

Happy weekending!  Got any big plans?  Mine will probably be a mix of farmers market, yoga, shopping, card making, and food.

Lots and lots of food.

Linking up with the my beautiful girl Lauren!

I would be photo-less without instagram as well. It is so much work to upload off my camera now! haha Gotta do all that work finding the cord and everything ;)

I get inspired seeing all your yoga photos! I would love to get into yoga as I think my balance (both in life and body-wise) could use some help!

I have a completely set up office for school at home and I never use it. I'm constantly doing homework snuggled into the guest bed or on the couch in the living room. I need to use it more often! The lamp you picked out is gorgeous, reminds me of Tiffany glass.

BOOO Wisconsin (only for this weekend... I'd like a victory pleeeease to start our season off!). I LOVE that she cheers em on though!! Super cute!

I saw that picture you posted with your new desk set up! LOVE it girl! Great location by the window... I always work best near the window... I don't know if it's the sunlight, or the fact that I'm day dreaming at times... whatever it is, IT WORKS! You need that space b/c the BED or COUCH with the laptop on your lap isn't always the wises choice... I had to learn that QUICK!

So excited for you! Happy weekend my love!

xo, Bev

I love the glasses - they look great. And I love your cheerleader cat. I think a skirt and poms should be bought for that cutie.

Have a great weekend!

I'm a glasses fiend - have you heard of They frequently have free glasses promos - and that's how I've built my store ;-). If you've gotta wear 'em, might as well have fun with it, right!? Sounds like a lovely weekend ahead of you - enjoy every moment girl!

The yoga in the park looks so fun. I wish they had events like that in my area. I'm still looking for an affordable yoga place. I took one yoga class a while back and realized how much I loved it and promptly realized how much I couldn't afford it.
