Kicking Off a Busy Weekend

Photo #2 Source // Photo #4 Source

1.) There is no denying that this owl mug is flippin' adorable!  Another addition to the mug collection.  It's gotten many compliments at the office.  I shall name him Earl.  I also have two bird figurines named Georg (not George) and Hemma in my office.

2.) I can watch Bridesmaids on repeat for days.  The airplane scene always has me laughing, even though I say all the lines aloud!

3.) We finally bought a food processor, and it is going to save us (read: Mr. TBS) so much time in the kitchen!

4.) There is a really wonderful website called Grow Soul Beautiful that launched last week.  I love their manifesto.  Amanda's goal is that the website "will be a bridge that connects the world of people blogging about the outside, exterior health and well-being of the body to those doing the inside work." (Source)  The website will include yoga, photography, and soul nourishment!  And guess who was selected to be a yogi model?!  (I hope you guessed me.)  Me!  :)  Happy early birthday to me!  I still consider myself a yogi newbie, so I am very grateful to be included.

5.) I'm attending the Houston Blogger Symposium this weekend!  There is a party tonight, and then there are some wonderful sessions tomorrow.  Swag bags, big-time blogger panelists, and time with my Houston girls?  Yes, please!  I kind of feel like this is my last hurrah before school starts next week.  Wahoo!

Happy weekend!  Enjoy it!

I've been seriously meaning to watch Bridesmaids again for the longest time, but I got way distracted on movies this week. If you haven't already, you should totally see What to Expect When You're Expecting. It was the blonde roommate and is hilarious! Have a safe weekend!

Sounds like you have a really good weekend planned - Bridesmaids is one of my all-time favourite films.
Enjoy the blogger symposium - would be great to do something like that here in the UK!

That owl mug is DAHHHLING!!! Love it girlie, and fits perfect with your lil' tea collection you got goin' on!

AND yesssss!!! I can (and actually do) watch Bridesmaids over and over and over!! It doesn't help that it plays all day every day on HBO... it's funny how I choose movies I've already watched so many times vs. new ones on TV! lol... my fave part is on the plane too (LOL @ STOVE the flight attendant!) and also at the end when she's stabbing the crap outta the heart shaped cookie! LOLLLLLL

Happy Friday my love and thanks for sharing that laugh!

xxo, Bev

The firs thing I saw was the Kristen Wiig picture and I immediately cracked up! You know I love that movie/scene as much as you do!

I'm obsessed with your mug! Where is it from? And I love the name Earl. He just looks like an Earl, doesn't he? :)

Yay food processer! My mom gave me her old one from the 80s that has a billion and ten attachments and I have NO clue how to use it so it's been sitting in my pantry. Oops.

Have lots of fun at the Symposium! Sounds like it will be great!
