"Sisters,
Sisters,
There were never such devoted sisters..."
-- Irving Berlin, "Sisters" from White Christmas

I get to see my big sister in two weeks!
Here's a little trip down memory lane with Little Lindsay Lou Who.

Who doesn't feel that way about Christmas (... other than people who don't celebrate Christmas)?

Summer (age 4) has a real-life Cabbage Patch doll (me, a few months old)!

With how much I love ice cream and frozen yogurt, it's amazing that I wasn't beaming in this picture!  But look at Summer!  Pure bliss!

I still have this dress!  Probably because, deep down, I know that I'll never be able to sew something like that for my kid.  And I'm one of those people who finds sentimental value in everything.

We've grown up, but we still speak in our "own language, " as Mom says.
My bro-in-law has been subjected to being our third wheel on a few occasions. Oops!
We can't help it.

I'll see you soon, Summ!  I love you!  *MUAH!*

Love,
Snot Face

This is so sweet. I absolutely love your pics. I'm definitely one of those people who keeps everything too. I have a shirt my dad bought me when I was four and was cold when we went to a fair together. I brought that shirt to college with me. Another great post!

Awee you both are gorgeous! And it's amazing that you two are so close. I always wished I had a sister growing up to do girlu things with, but luckily I still maintained a close relationship with my younger brother. Anyway I'm sure you must be excited to see her again soon! :)

Thanks for taking us on a little trip down memory lane! I'm so jealous, I always wanted a little sister. Instead I got two little brothers...who I put makeup on, and dressed up in my dresses.

Both of you are so pretty! I envy you. I hope I have an awesome sister too, sometimes it's too lonely to be a single child. So happy for you!

Thanks so much for coming over and reading our post on Jess!! We adore her too! Love your blog and we are now following via GFC. Now I don't have any sisters but Mendi has 2 and I think she'd agree about having a "sister language". :-) Those photos are so cute and the last one is stunning!!
We hope you come back and visit again and follow us if you like.
Have a great day!
